MHT-CET 2026 scores are accepted by over 350 engineering colleges in Maharashtra for B.Tech admissions. Top colleges include COEP Pune, VJTI Mumbai, ICT Mumbai, SPPU affiliated colleges, and several autonomous institutions. Admission is through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the State CET Cell. COEP Pune closes at very high percentiles for Computer Engineering. VJTI Mumbai is highly sought after for branches like Electronics, Computer Science, and Mechanical. First-year engineering students can also opt for direct second-year through MHT-CET lateral entry. Students are advised to fill maximum college choices during CAP rounds to maximize admission chances.
