JEE Main 2026 scores are accepted by over 1,600 engineering colleges across India. These include 31 NITs, 25 IIITs, and 28 GFTIs under the JoSAA counselling process. Additionally, many state governments like Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Madhya Pradesh use JEE Main scores for admission to state engineering colleges. Several private colleges also accept JEE Main scores directly. This makes JEE Main one of the most widely accepted engineering entrance exams in India. Students are advised to check individual college cutoffs and counselling procedures before applying.
